BARRY LIEBERMAN

Barry Lieberman was an abstract impressionist painter whose career spanned several decades. Early in his life, his work was exhibited in galleries across New York City, Long Island, and Ithaca. He earned a fine arts degree from Syracuse University and later continued his artistic development at NYU, where he studied with—and formed a lasting friendship with—Milton Resnick. Lieberman passed away on February 26, 2024. His son, Howard, lives in Cortland. He has generously allowed the SikoraArts Gallery to frequently showcase his fathers works.
