Olga Suveizdyté-Claes


Olga Suveizdyté-Claes is a graphic artist with a passion for mathematics. Based in Belgium, she earned her MA in Visual Arts from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Her work is part of the collection of the Centre de la Gravure in La Louvière. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Lithuania, Belgium, and Serbia.

"From the beginning of my printmaking studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, I have been interested in translating mathematical ideas into visual form. Over the past six years, my research has focused on the mathematics and geometry found in traditional Lithuanian handmade textiles, reflecting the cultural heritage of the country where I was born."
